David Gaspar is chief executive officer at The Bail Project, which collects private donations to provide free bail assistance to thousands of low-income people every year, supports bailees with wraparound services, and advocates for the reform of cash bail. Prior to joining The Bail Project, David was a director of Distribution Center Operations, where he developed and oversaw a justice-involved job opportunity program.
Over the past 13 years, David has helped develop and facilitate an at-risk youth group, mentored and coached youth in felony diversion programs, and more recently became certified to better assist justice-involved individuals successfully transition back into their communities. His passion is to help people find their strength, purpose, conviction, and voice.
