Teddy is a healer, facilitator, and DJ currently based in New Orleans.
He helped to found Collective Justice, where he currently serves as a Healing Justice Coach. Teddy’s abolitionism is heavily informed by his three-generation legacy of family violence and survivorship.
He has seen the power of transformative justice in his work with many on the frontlines of ending mass incarceration, through legal action in collaboration with the Detroit Justice Center, the arts through Creative Justice, or organizing through HEAL and Collective Justice. In New Orleans, Teddy helped found the Coalition for Compassionate Schools (formerly known as the Trauma-Informed Schools Learning Collaborative), where coaches trainers on trauma-reduction initiatives.
