Michael E. Novogratz is the Founder and Co-Chair of Galaxy Gives. He is also the founder and CEO of Galaxy Digital, a NYC-based multi-strategy investment firm focused on digital assets and blockchain technology. He was formerly a principal and chief investment officer of the Fortress Macro Fund, a member of the board of directors of Fortress Investment Group LLC, and partner at Goldman Sachs.

Novogratz is also the chairman of the board of the Bail Project, an organization that combats mass incarceration at the front end by paying bail for tens of thousands of low-income Americans at risk of pretrial detention and a founding partner of #REFORM whose mission is to liberate 1 million people unjustly stuck in our criminal justice system.

Additionally, Mr. Novogratz serves as the chairman emeritus for Beat the Streets, the chairman of the board of Hudson River Park Friends, and a board member of the Jazz Foundation of America and Artists for Peace and Justice.

Mr. Novogratz received an AB in economics from Princeton University and served as a helicopter pilot in the US Army. Mr. Novogratz lives in NYC with his wife Sukey Novogratz.
